How long have you been in business?
I founded my laser medical practice in 1989.
What is your primary product or service?
Laser procedures custom designed according to diagnosis and to skin type. Dr. Jared Mallalieu, a cosmetic surgeon, recently joined our practice! Our center combines the synergistic benefits of laser treatment with cosmetic surgery. Laser treatment of post-operative incisions reduces scarring and redness.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My board certifications are in Internal Medicine and Clinical Preventive Medicine. I developed an interest in laser medicine in the late 1980's when a fellow physician exposed me to the ever expanding field of laser aesthetics.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My practice is well established, physician run and we treat a wide variety of skin conditions. I have 14 different lasers and 24 years of experience to custom design unique laser medicine solutions for your skin problems. Our wide variety of laser technology insures a customized approach to your skin problems. We don't have a "one size fits all" approach because of limited technology.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our sole location is conveniently located near the corner of Ritchie Hwy. and Robinson Road in Severna Park, Maryland.

We are conveniently located at 484A Ritchie Hwy. in Severna Park. Our office is in the Robinson Crossings shopping center located near the corner of Ritchie Highway and Robinson Road. Our location is 15 minutes north of Annapolis and approximately 25 minutes south of Baltimore.
What type of payments do you accept?
The Laser Center of Maryland accepts all major credit cards and checks with proof of Maryland licensing. We also offer CareCredit financing with a six month 0% interest rate for those elegible.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Dr. VanAntwerp is the sole owner and medical director of the Laser Center of Maryland.
What are your hours of operation?
Our hours of operation are Monday 1-8 p.m., Tuesday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Wednesday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
