Charters: Primarily sail (some power) New and like new, luxuriously equipped, Monohulls and Catamarans.37-57'
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Initially was a racer, who cruised some. Lived aboard, became a cruiser first, racer second. Background in engineering, and art. Enjoy marketing and sales. Sail regularly, E.Coast and Caribbean primarily. Also motorcycles and motorhoming, when not sailing.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have a highly developed team of knowledgeable associates for sales and service. We are known for offering custom commissioning on both new and used boats--in house. We also offer a unique Boat as a business plan. This is offered as a service, rather than as a charter company plan. Owners can offset, or eliminate expenses with tax advantages and income while they have total flexibility.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have a primary location on the harbor, Annapolis with separate charter and sales offices. (Let's Go Cruising, and Bay Yacht Agency). We also have affiliated management companies up and down the East Coast and in the Caribbean.

The entire U.S. market and some foreign.

Eric Smith, President. Sales and Marketing--BYA. Douglass Dillard, owns Let's Go Cruising. Chief financial officer, both companies.
What are your hours of operation?
9-5 M-F; 10-4, Sat. Other hours by appointment.
